Structure of the airsprings
Structure of the airsprings
Airsprings consist of a thin and flexible-walled rubber/textile casing, called “membrane”, the purpose of which is to contain the air under pressure.

The textile part (nylon rope) features high resistance against the stress applied to balance the external load on the spring.

The rubber, on the other hand, has the function of waterproofing the fabric and is neoprene-based, to allow the airspring to withstand splashed lubricating oil, diesel and atmospheric agents.

The rubber-textile casing is closed at the ends by metal plates, which are used to fix the spring to the vehicle frame.
PNEUMATIC ISOLATORS To isolate delicate equipment from vibration and to protect the environment from oscillations produced by machinery.
PNEUMATIC ISOLATORS

To isolate delicate equipment from vibration and to protect the environment from oscillations produced by machinery.
USE AS ISOLATORS
USE AS ISOLATORS
Airsprings are used as isolators, making the most of their ability to filter off and therefore isolate machines or components from disturbing frequencies. The airsprings are fed with pressurized air to support the machine load.

Their special characteristics guarantee an excellent degree of vibration reduction, avoid damage to structures and filter off harmful frequencies for operators.

As isolators, they can be applied to laser equipment, industrial fans, power generators, industrial washing machines, forging hammers, etc.

They do not have any internal bars or pistons or sliding gaskets which require maintenance and lubrication. Their design allows them to be used for all types of application where dirt and dust would destroy the gaskets of traditional cylinders.

We can offer a wide range of airsprings with technical characteristics to suit all your needs.

We also stock replacement and spare parts for machines that have already adopted this solution: we cater for virtually all the brands available commercially, or alternatively, we can offer equivalent models in terms of both dimensional and technical specifications.

Actuator
Actuator
  • Airsprings, used as actuators or isolators, meet the needs of a variety of industrial applications.
  • Airsprings include an elastomeric bellow with metal connection ends.
  • The bellow consists of two layers of high resistance fabric covered internally and externally with a layer of rubber.
  • Air springs can be made to respond efficiently to extreme working conditions, such as high temperatures or heavy-duty pressures.

USE AS ACTUATORS
Air springs can be used as actuators, thanks to their stroking properties under high loads. They can replace pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders in various applications.

As actuators, they are fitted to: presses, conveyors, balancing equipment for cars, automotive lifts, paper mill machines, machinery for the textile industry.
